Waiting is over, First Android device is coming to India. The tablet PC developed by Notion Ink a company by six IITians and an MBA will soon become the First Android device coming to India. Notion Ink is set to show case their Android based  tablet PC for the first time at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January 2010. Notion Ink is a Hyderabad based technology start-up company.

Notion Ink has given a name to its much hyped Android based tablet PC with great features, as Adam.

Height lights of Adam

  • Adam is suppose to be 0.6-inch thick which will weighs approx. 770 grams.
  • Adam is having has 10.1-inch scratch-resistant touch screen. with Pixel Qi display,
  • Adam  is having Pixel Qi display, a low-cost, power-saving screen that can operate in three modes, LCD mode, Trans-reflective mode and e-paper mode.
  • Adam’s screen is made up of fingerprint-resistant oleophobic (oil repelling) and anti-glare coating.
  • Adam is powered with NVIDIA Tegra T20 chipset, Lithium-ion battery which lasts long up to 48 hours standby, eight hours of high definition video playback or 16 hours of Internet surfing over Wi-Fi.
  • Adam also has ambient light and proximity sensors, accelerometer, assisted GPS, digital compass, built-in speakers, loaded with Flash memory (16 or 32 GB) and an Secure Digital (SD) card support.
  • With respect to connectivity, it includes USB, HDMI, 3.5mm headphone jack and a microphone input, and a 3 MP autofocus camera with video recording support

Hushhh…!!! That sounds so many features…with a power of Android, Adam is going to be the next future of Mobile computing…

I think now the most challenging thing for Notion Ink would be to get the 3G connectivity License for the device.
